Anybody ever run 86-87 turbo headers on an engine with a distributor? I am trying to figure how to mount the alternator since the turbo goes in the original alternator location and the distributor is where the 86-87 alternator mount is.

Does anybody know if the turbine wheel is different from the 84-85 T3 on the early carbed regal turbos with .82 A/R turbine housings? Just wondering if you can swap a .82 housing onto an 84-85 T3 in place of the .63 housing without a wheel change. If not can you do it if you change the wheel?

Anybody have any experience with the inexpensive T3/T4 style turbos that are all over ebay? They are obviously not garrets but a chinese knock off probably. Very tempting at the prices they charge but I don't want a compressor wheel breaking apart and going through my engine either.
