My Turbo 6.0 LY6 4l80e build

Man this is too NICE!!! I have been wanting to do a TT setup like this, just looking for the perfect regal to cutup

What type/brand did you choose for your fuel tank? Are u satified with its perfprmance and would you recommend it?

I used a stock replacement brand new tank and used Ractronix's dual 340 pump bracket and there Teflon 8an lines kit they sell for GN's. I just plumed it different in the front to run on a LS motor.

What psi level hobbs switch did u choose to turn on the secondary pump?

Dumb question, are the internals on the LY6 all stock? Just curious. I can't find a video of it, but a twin turbo setup was put a 4.8 with stock internals and they were trying to find its breaking point. They got to 1200 flywheel hp and ran out of turbo. So no breaking point. Just awesome to what these stock blocks can do.

I bought a 7psi hobbs, but never ran it. Im running 2 340's all the time since i put it together. I'm currently daily driving this thing for 2 months.

Yes internals are stock. No gaping rings or anything either, just ls9 gaskets and arp bolts.. I would like to turn it up, but have run out of injector on e85.

Do you have enough pump to push it farther? You can always increase your base fuel pressure to get more flow from those injectors.

I think the two 340's on 8an feed should get close to 1000rwhp on e85, but I'll be playing with fire on stock internals. Might run out of turbo too, but there is the new PT8285. I could try that next year and if the motor goes drop in a forged short block.

In your experience what is the safe limit with the stock internals? With forged internals I'm pretty sure I have seen guys make 1500 to 2000rwhp with an LS block, if not more. The block itself seems to be as stout a production block you'll find. You know, minus the million dollar plus cars on the road.

I think where i'm at is pretty safe 750- 800hp to the wheels on E85. I wanna push a little bit more to see what happens next year. I still have to take her back to the track with the Jakes trans and brake, but I'm currently tied up trying to stick a 4l80e and procharger in my silveraydo.

You're a busy man. Good luck with everything. Maybe one of these days when I get the kids through college and get my current build tuned, just rebuild the engine and transmission, I will be able to build a second turbo regal. I will probably go with a 3800 of series 2/3. We'll see. GBGN1 is working out of all the details for the 3800 conversion.
