Anybody running Megasquirt?

I saw Megasquirt has an adapter for the oe harness now. Wondering if anybody was running Megasquirt at all. And can you still use cruise?
 
Yes, yes, yes. The Cruise Control is independent of the ECM on these cars, so it'll work as long as you maintain the cable operated throttle.

Search, there are several threads, including one with a step by step on wiring it up.
 
I did not know there is a harness adapter for plug and play megasquirt. I may have to do this!

There isn't. You can get the connector/pin kits, then you have to figure out the pinouts yourself.

Good. But not PnP yet.

I've seen it used for LS swaps w/ sloppy mechanics, they make 1,000hp, so it must be a decent ECM.

I was thinking about doing it with my buick, we will see.

I have it on a turbo 2.0 in an 82 vw Rabbit.
 
I have the ms pnp2 on my fox body, works great. I'm some-what familiar with the software, but I didn't tune it myself.

Lets see some pics of the Rabbit. How fast is it? There is a guy on Facebook gn t-type central that is installing MS3 on a GN right now

I was setting it up for autocross at the time. I haven't messed with it since i got to this point. I moved right after I took these pics and other projects took off like the regal. I have a full cage I haven't welded in. Was hoping to get 300hp. It's only at 7 pounds now at 10:1 stock ratio. people have gotten over 300 at 25psi on these with stock cast pistons. Right now it just fries the tires. But it runs pretty good. I've got a limited slip to go in and need to switch head gaskets to lower the compression. It's a pretty cheap build.
