hello fellow Buick friends
I just bought a mint 1986 Buick TType Astro Roof 12k,
original California car always stored in garage and covers,
never driven in rain has a GNX style dash and Rims
Runs better than new I've had many buicks and this one is perfect!

What's it worth??

I payed 25k

Need to see pics.

I've got an old Regal in my garage right now with only 35K miles on it. I'll trade you. :D

Oh wait a minute. That one's yours too. :p

Its worth 25k to you.LOL I think you paid a little less than the car is worth. People will think were nuts but I think the car would be worth low to mid 30's. Don't forget the car is not a GN so it ain't worth shit. LOL.. Did you get the factory rims and dash with it?

Is it Tues yet? I think it's worth $20k but I'm cheap. I'm sure it's a nice car though.

Low production car with lots of options makes it pretty valuable right there. Since it only has 12,000 miles that certainly ups the miles, the GNX dash along with the stock parts also helps the value. I think you got a decent deal on the car. In the future, the value is certainly going to climb with that car.

kirban 2 cents worth

You did not mention the color combo which plays a part in value. I hope its a factory astro roof not a aftermarket. Its good you got the original speedo helps verify the mileage

While it has been mentioned T-Types and Turbo-Ts with few exceptions don;t really garner the big money GNs obtain. With all things being the same meaning comparing your exact miles to a GN as far as value goes.

One of the exceptions is the WE4

With that being said history is on our side. More for you probably than me as I hit 70 this year....I assume you are younger...
Here is a prime reason:

In my youth the hot cars were the 55-57 Chevys....Danchuck made a killing on those models....then what happened those cars dried up so 58 Chevys and 4 door 55-57 Chevys became popular...

Translation...at some point demand will exceed GNs for sale or GNS will get priced out of some potential buyers market making the T-Types an Turbo-Ts desirable....

In most cases quicker cars to start with also you got a 1986 which is rarer than a 87.....

Again this just my opinion but both cars I based my business on have proven to be successful GTOs-Turbo Regals....

Former Pontiac owner, still a fan here. Hubba hubba. Good looking cars, except the Aztec, haha. I always wanted a 65 GTO and a 72 GP SSJ.

It's no secret i have a strong dislike for t-tops but GM did a good job on the astro/moonroof versions... at least they functioned as designed .
