Which wheel studs for Moser 30 spline axles?

I'm getting ready to order a set of these axles and was planning on getting extended studs while I'm at it. The problem is I don't know which studs to order. I searched on here only to find out it wasn't as straight forward of an answer I was expecting, so I was hoping for someone with these axles to chime in. It'd greatly be appreciated, thanks in advance!

edit: an unrelated question I have regarding the axles is would/should I order c clip eliminators for the new ones?

1/2" stud by whatever length you want. I have thread in studs not press.

As for c clip style or not, that depends on your goal. One of my cars has c clip eliminators the other does not. The slower one doesn't

What about the knurl, how much would a .004" difference play into installation? Studs from Moser have a .505" knurl and ARPs are .509"

I wound up deciding to get 3" studs over the 2 1/2" and Moser's site didn't show any 3" so I'm going to have to order them somewhere else and put them in myself. But I still have a question about the knurl, going back to my example about Moser's and ARP, does the difference in knurl effect anything in regards to installation?

Did you call Moser ? A lot of times vendors have products not shown on the website. I find it hard to believe that an hi po axle company doesn't offer 3" studs for their axles .

No I didn't get the chance too.. I had been making a rough list of what I wanted to do for my rear end over the past few weeks, then found out Moser had a 10% off deal that ended last night at midnight so I went ahead and ordered the parts I knew for sure that I'd be needing. And being that it was a Sunday I don't think I would've gotten an answer.. I didn't get a posi, gears, or wheel studs from them so what I'm going to do now is call Cottons and see if I can get an answer and possibly a package deal from them

I just purchased a complete rear-end from Quick Performance. It is a Ford 9" set up for a G body and cost $3132 , that same rear end from Moser was $4800+ . I would give them a call , ask for Max , these guy's are great to deal with and can answer your questions. Dave Husek steered me to these guys and I'm glad he did . Sam

That's a nice deal! Yeah Moser has a True Trac for $575 and just about everywhere else it's in the low to mid $400 range.. But I'll give those guys at Quick Perf. a call if the deal at Cotton's isn't too sweet

I had my transmission built by Mike Kurtz with internals from Husek, and Kurtz is the one that suggested the True Trac for me.. I'll do some more research on them but I definitely want to do it right the first time and get the best one possible

Are you going with press in or knurled studs. I installed moser axles last year and decided to go with the screw in style studs. I chose Moroso 1/2in studs to use, they were half the price and rated for a shear load of 190ksi. ARPs were rated at 190ksi also. Let me know if you need a P/N.

Here you go!

They only come in a 3in length. I had to cut them down and put chamfers on all of the studs. Let me know if you need any other info
