The best thing you can do is to always be looking. I watched the market for almost 3 years before I found my dream. Take your time. Keep in mine the most affordable isn't always the best deal. Conversely, the most expensive isn't always the most reliable. Lurking on this board is the BEST way to pick things up. There is like 15 years of posts on this site and still growing. The best part is that just because you find a post from 2003 doesn't necessarily mean the solution is outdated hehe. I sometimes pass time when someone posts a problem with their car, I try to think of what my flow would be to try and fix it if it happened to mine. Reading the questions that get asked and the answers given can really add fuel to the dream :)

If you guys are waiting for prices to come down, you may be in for a rude awakening. They'll be going up.;)

Don't wait too long.

Welcome... Not much more to be said that hasn't been covered. Patience will pay off ...
I spent 5 years looking before I pulled the trigger on mine and it just happened to be when these cars were pulling good money. I got mine with 42,xxx miles on it for 17k in 2006 , more than what I was looking to spend and probably more than what it was worth but it is a very nice car and I have no regrets for my purchase.
There are tons of these cars in NC , look around and be patient, the right car will come along. Good luck !

Bryan

Sad to see a car you had history with come to an unfortunately end like this. It's kinda just like an old girlfriend who fell from grace after you broke up. Just like girls though, relish the memories but look to the future. When you get your hands on owning the Turbo model of that Regal, you will struggle to even remember her name :)
