Leaky exhaust valve

so if it was yours car and you had a choice on cam timing would you run it 2 degrees advanced, 2 degrees retarded or 6 degrees retarded. My turbo spools pretty quick and lag is not really an issue.


That's a good one. If you're a fat American that eats chitloads of Cheetos on the couch while watching the big game and thinks that 'more is better' when it comes to cam lift then you need excessive cam advance. That's so the intake valve closes a little sooner and maintains some sort of 'reasonable' dynamic compression ratio.


If your cam's not overxized for your build the last thing you want is a bunch of excessive cam advance.
