Racetronix horrible customer service

Guys I order a new AccuFab FPR and Fuel Pump and Hot wire kit from racetronix a little over a week ago. I was never notified that my order was placed place on back order and I only discovered this after waiting a few days for a shipping update and/or tracking number and because I never received one, I logged into to my racetronix customer account and saw my order was never shipped.

I emailed them to find out when they were going to expect the items to be available and received no response. I called them, left a voicemail message and received once again no response. Then I decided just to cancel my order and I attempted to email them again, with same results as above. SO once again I tried calling, and still have gotten no response. I have never witnessed in my life such horrible customer service from any legitimate company before. I wonder how they stay in business with such bad service.

I contact my credit card company to dispute the transaction since I never received my items I order or any information from them period. If my CC does not get credit, perhaps Ill have to take them to civil court. SMH

Maybe they will respond to this post.
 
They try hard to not deal with the turbo buick community. They sell to other makes and thats how they stay in business but i agree, customer service stinks. Its a shame because they do sell quality parts
 
True, its just shameful. I contacted other vendors to order what i need but haven't yet. I don't like having $$$ tied up for nothing.
 
Update! Racetronic finally decided to reply to my emails after I posted this. Read there response below:

"FYI our web store shows stock YES/NO.

As well you can login to our web store 24/7 to check your order status.

… but then again like most TB members you are quick to criticize and fail to read notification e-mails sent by our web store!

This is why we encourage TB members to purchase through dealers."

You see they state us TB memebrs never read notification emails. However I never recieved any emails from them at all.
 
This a perfect case example of why to avoid vendors who do not appreciate customer relationships and what it means to have lost this level of equity with their client base.

Every time I read one of these threads I can't stop and think WTF, Racetonix makes great stuff but clearly misses the entire customer acquisition and retention side of things.

As others have suggested, get your money back and choose someone else or go through a vendor.
 
In the "dog eat dog" world of such a competitive industry I am not surprised. Customer service is the backbone of any company worth their salt but we still have company's who have no clue.
 
Full Throttle sells their stuff. Unless you are in canada it is cheaper through mike too. WHy would you even want to order directly from them?
 
Customer service in important in business. The the majority of retailers know this for a fact, So I am quite shocked and of any companies mistreatment of their consumers. Obviously racetronix wants us to buy their products but have no respect for us as consumer. Which for me is almost grounds to boycott them lol. They already locked me out now from being able to buy direct from them anyway because I complained that they failed to communicate with me, or many others for that matter.

I personally like to order direct when possible and affordable. I like to cut the middle man out especially when there are higher mark ups.

I think racetronix uses their own forum for customer service questions/issues. I've always received quick responses using their forum. It's different for the customer, but it works for them, due to a smaller staff perhaps? Their products are hard to beat.
 
They are pretty difficult to work with and I believe they feel justified because of some past dealings with their Buick customers. It is too bad they've let that color their feelings for new customers.

I heard that. Unfortunately they would not even let me become part of their forum. I registered but they would never send me a confirmation link. Too much bad blood I guess.
 
Companies like them me me feel ,like If I had the time and capital to create my own products that are superior to sell and shut them out of the industry. This was my first experience with them and will be my last. They even locked my customer account.
 
2024 and the customer service still sucks. Ive been fighting with them for 6 months over a faulty fuel rail/regulator. Still fighting to get my money back sent parts back in February a month later ive still yet to get a refund. Told the hr guy everything they say is bullshit and he blocked my number. I will never do business with them again and unfortunately I have quite a few racetronix stuff on my car.
