Repeat procedure.

Have you thought about trying a blazer bar off the off road package two doors? I got one from the yard for 15 bucks I'm gonna put on the 455 car.

Never tried any bars from other GM products.

Here is the blowthru Buick doing work early this summer.
Watch "Turbo Buick 11.38@121" on YouTube

If you ever can get your NOS sorted out, a 100hp shot should get you into the 10's easily... Great work... Waiting for your FIRST 10'second pass :)

Thanks man!
The N20 is working I just never made a pass with it this year, the trans needs to come out for a freshen up. 2016 is the year it goes into the 10's

I am ready to put this machine back together and go play.
I got the EA 2004r freshened up by Lonnie and bought a new Alkycontrol pump from Julio and today I received my last part a FTS 9.5 nlu converter.
Excited to feel the new converter and fresh trans.

Not sure at the moment, I'll put the data here when I find out. This converter was made to order with my turbo and camshaft combo.

Very limited testing with the not favorable weather conditons. Planning for a track day this week. I like the Rev X torque converter it's even given me new traction problems on the street, footbrake stall on mine is 2600ish, on the transbrake it hung up at 3000 for a moment then flashed quickly to somewhere over 4600 before I lifted. The PTC was smoother and never did that so I wasn't expecting it.

I did make it to the track with the Buick May 27th for testing. Drove 94 miles to get there. First test pass off the foot brake no boost launch roughly 2200rpm = 2.0 60ft 7.6@98 and 11.6@124 engine sounds great and improved MPH everywhere. Looks like good 10 sec power, so go for 2nd pass and trying with boost on foot brake this time. Not so good held up for a bit then blew through the low roller or something the trans has no low but 2nd 3rd and reverse, definitely shouldn't have happened to the trans with less than 200 miles on freshen up. I got to talk to Lonnie about it, otherwise that was a good trip and the Buick is performing good.

Dangit.. double post. I'll make use of this soon.
And I am!
Trying to sort out a random new problem of leaning out on boost now even with the dual nozzle setup, it's like an internal leak on the new alky pump. Used to be able to flood the engine with alky and It cannot do that now. I did find out that even with a leaky crossover the 62/65 turbo spools from 0psi/vac to 32psi in .7 seconds. The new FTS 9.5 non lock converter is nice and is really coupling power well, loosing traction now vs the old PTC just slipping.

Aside from the current leaning out in high boost condition, this machine is much faster this year and is crazy on the street. I am going to have to do something with the rear suspension too soon, I don't think I can put anymore power to it as it's moving around the most ever right now. My older street tires (275/60-15) finally grabbed the wheel opening trim on passenger side.

Still cannot get the volume or pressure on the alky pump like it used to be, I think it has an internal leak or just cannot make high pressure anymore. It's new built 4/16 from Julio, the pump builds test pressure good (LED red) and over that (LED green) but while under full boost and LED glowing green the wideband O2 is showing lean heading towards 13.5 AFR. I tried to retest with the old pump but it it leaking too bad for that test.
I'm certain it's the alky pump that has to be culprit, I've replaced the fuel filter and verified fuel pressure rise under boost, I have never looked at or replaced the in tank fuel pickup sock that is original.

If you are using a 3 bar map for activation I would pressure test it and make sure it isn't leaking by.

Definitely tested the MAP sensor with pressure after seeing Bisons video about the failed GM MAP sensors. I did a voltmeter test earlier and it's in good health.
I turned the alky off and lowered the boost down to 25psi and then 22psi and no problems are present and plenty of fuel for the engine. The alky pump still acts like it produces the initial pressure and then enough to turn the LED green but then stops building pressure or just maintains enough for the green LED.

I'll miss Charlie posting in this thread, RIP CharlieF1.
I've got this machine almost ready for 2017. End of last year I sent Julio the new alky pump which was replaced with another new pump. The first one had an issue, it's great now.
Sent the trans back to EA for a no shift condition and it's different now! Yay.
Used to have an anodized cover all those years before:

But not anymore, after the last build it has a different natural finish cover:

The 9.5 RevX torque converter is flushed and reinstalled, that was working very well.
I really wanted a HR rear bar but I could not get it. Ordered a Hellwig bar instead to install next while, waiting on some new 275 street tires.

This car never had a rear stabilizer bar from factory on the stock 7.5 positrac 2.41 rear. The 8.5 axle I put in came with a stock bar but it does absolutely nothing. With new bushings the whole rear end is moving all over the place when the power is on not to mention the high speed shuffling from a roll. The 275 street tires are rubbing up on the inside of the wells and the right rear tire already grabbed the wheel arch molding with the power on. I really don't like that feeling so I'm sure the machine will benefit with this new rear bar, might even help me get quicker than my best 1.7 60ft.

Working on rear bar install now and got new 275 tires for the rear. I added an external trans oil filter this time around, pretty nice Derale part

Hellwig rear bar is now installed, wasn't too bad even working by myself today.
Rear end:

Drivers side stuff:

And the the opposite side is very much the the same:
