Also i found a leak in the boost gauge line where its attached. Replacing that today, but i still dont see how that means i was making 30psi without a regulator, especially when i saw 8-9. And why is it barely ahowing any boost with the tegukator hooked up??

So i need some help i have a boost issue. Ive got a t70 turbo and a wastegate with an 8lb spring. Its been like that since i first got the car, and whenever i had my foot in it always showed 8lbs of boost on the gauge at wot. Note i have one line from turbo to bottom of wastegate and a T in that...
I just need a temporary gauge to get hot idle psi, ive installed a vdo mechanical direct mount gauge at a t fitting connected to feed line at top if turbo. Is it ok to mount it there? Will its location affect readings? I get 11 psi hot idle and 65+ WOT, need to know if this is accurate depending...
So i got that allen head bolt in that size and now im just waiting to pickup my new filter but i wanted to know where the oil spring cap is, and if im drilling into it? How does the bolt work does it adjust pressure the more its turned or should i drill it in all the way into wherever this cap...

Ok and should i just put a washer behind the nut to shim it.? Any idea how much that would help oil pressure. ( and i went ahead and got the napa 1258 and the acdelco p245
Also do you have part numbers on those other filters, and what is that bolt next to the filter ? Are you reccomending i just pull it out and add a spacer?

Im in palm desert california, maybe theres someone nearby. And how should i go about checking clearance on my oil pump? Also im using VDO electric gauge, any ideas on how to hook up a more reliable mechanical one?

Im a year late but im looking to do same thing, what was your solution did you tap off turbo inlet?
