PL file critique please-suspect false knock

After all the bacon-saving advice I've gotten from this board over the years, it's nice to give something back.

PL file critique please-suspect false knock

:D It's to make up for all the work I do that's way harder than it needs to be... Non-polarized LEDs are great - especially with dash lights.

PL file critique please-suspect false knock

1986 Buick GX1 and GNVYUS 1, I've been converting the exterior lights to LED and came across this same issue. Even with an LED flasher, the marker lights would not behave correctly, so just guessing, I swapped in a "non-polarity" 194 from my daily, and it worked normally. Then I ordered an...

Anyone at World of Speed March 20?

I was at a JDRF event tonight at the World of Speed in Wilsonville, and there was a WE4 in the parking lot. One of the cleanest I've seen. Does that belong to anyone here?

Hit a curb, back regal passenger side rim literally broke off the axle

Good perspective. Certainly could have been worse for both of us. If you have any questions when you dig in to the repair, I'll do whatever I can to help.

Hit a curb, back regal passenger side rim literally broke off the axle

The same thing happened to me when I first got my Buick, back in 2000. In my case, the Powermaster was failing (and I knew ZERO about it) and had leaked brake fluid down the frame rail, and I must have driven over it, because the car fishtailed like I had never experienced before, and next thing...

Shop in Portland to paint bumper fillers?

Sorry, guys - I didn't get reply notifications on this post, even though they are working on other watched threads. ??? Great tip! I hadn't thought of fitment. I don't trust myself to do paint, though... Thanks for the offer, etriebe. The car is white, and I picked it up in Battle Ground 16...

Shop in Portland to paint bumper fillers?

My originals all started to fall apart at once, so I bought the GBP stock-style replacements. Now I need to get them painted. Any recommendations? Paint on the car (also original) is pretty faded, so I don't need Barrett-Jackson quality. Also, is it better to install them, or hand them over to...

    Dash speaker replacements

Flat Boosted, a couple of years back I picked up these Polks on ebay. http://www.crutchfield.com/S-lGb1GnP16yX/p_107EX351A/Polk-EX-Series-II-3-1-2-Speakers.html Only a dual-cone design, but that's why they dropped in with no hassle whatsoever. I also have a Sony head unit with 7-band EQ and...

    Portland/Vancouver Area

Ugh, sorry, I didn't put 2 & 2 together with the times. My kids also bowl on Saturday mornings. In the summer they started at 10, but now that it's fall, they start at 9. I will figure out how to make it there one of these times! Looks like the weather will be perfect for you today.

    Portland/Vancouver Area

Infamous - I also live in Beaverton. I've known CliffyC and mikestertwo for a couple of years now. There used to be a ton of activity in Portland around 2000 or so, but a lot of those guys have moved on, or just moved away. My car has been garaged most of the year. Lots to be done, with not...

New Upper A-arms. BIG Difference in Ride Quality.

I experienced something similar when I did the front end back in 2006 with G-body uppers. Also added new bushings in the stock lowers, Bilsteins, and Moog 5660s - which are stiffer than stock. There's a big dip in the road near my house, and with the original pieces, every time I drove over it...

    WTB Steering column bearing

You could also try www.cjsrods.com I bought a lower column bearing from him a couple of years ago. Reasonable price, and it came greased & ready to install (no separate pieces). He might have the upper bearing as well.
