Engine was rebuilt/balanced/bored about 7K ago, along with a turbo rebuild. Headers and full exhaust, ISKY cam, fuel pump, injectors, intake, ECU chip, etc. The receipts I have say it was bored 30 over, ported and polished, balanced and blueprinted. The list of good goes on I installed 5 gauges...

So...the housing on my 85's MAF is cracked. Like...chunk missing. So I figure it's time to replace it. As long as I'm spending money, should I switch to a different MAF? Are the 87s better? The car is an 85 WH1, chipped(unknown), running a bigger pump and injectors, headers, cam, and is bored...

ECU CHIP MAF One wire O2 for my AFR gauge??

Pulled it. Service number is 1226559. Through some Googling, it seems to be an 84/85 ECM, and the chip in it has an orange sticker that says 84/85. So it looks like I'm running a stock computer. Now my next issue, is the previous owner claims it has a bigger pump, and bigger injectors. I also...

So I might pull the ECU this morning for identification. To my knowledge, it's behind the passenger kick panel? How do ID the ECU once it's out? Also I should probably try to ID the injectors as well. I drove it home the other day with absolutely no issue. Tried to start it up a couple times...

Quick question that I can't seem to find an answer to. Is the scanmaster or powerlogger ABSOLUTELY necessary? The reason I ask, is it came with a lot of gauges. Knock, AFR, boost, etc. With all these gauges, does it replace the scanmaster? Or do I still need to invest in one?
