Thanks for the replies!
I tried tightening the spring for the secondaries and it seemed to make the bog even worse haha. So I went back to as loose as they would go and it was about the same as before.
This car is a project that my dad and I fixed up about five years ago. It sat for 20 years...
Im hoping some of the experts can help Me figure out my car.
I have a wideband afr and boost gauge on my car. If I mash the gas pedal (not even having to go wide open) it falls on its face for a split second and reads very very lean. It then will pick up and build boost just fine (around 9-10...
Here is what I ended up with. Got someone to extend the back of the bag so they would both fit in good. Then put a piece of wood in the trunk to flatten it out, and covered it with carpet. Found some hooks that would work at a hardware store. Screwed them down and it works perfect for me.
After a while of searching I found some information about how to adjust it. But I'm still trying to figure out where the PEVR vacuum lines hook up to the carb.
just took apart my carb, and am doing a rebuild kit. I'm wondering what a part is and what it should be adjusted to. It is right between the needle and float. We didn't realize that it was adjustable, and didn't count the turns. Also another thing I'm wanting to know about is the PEVR vacuum...
Well the bag is definitely not big enough for them. Very close, but not quite. But we have an idea to make an extension on the zipper. Also no didn't get the hooks or anything, but will have to figure out a way to secure them.
I am looking for T top bags for my 1980 regal. does anyone know where I could find some that will work for my car? there are some options but I am not sure which are the right size for mine. Also looking for some that will secure them down in the trunk.
I am trying to fix the lights in the gauge cluster and am wondering how to get it to come loose. The fasteners are all out. I believe the speedo cable is holding it on? If so how would it come off?
So after fighting with it two different times and nothing working, we used a 90 degree pick and poked it in behind. Then the knob came right off. Turns out there's a metal clip in behind the knob that releases it. Now struggling with the gauge cluster. But will make another post about that
I am taking apart the dash on my 1980 regal, and am wondering what the easiest way to get the headlight switch to come off is. I know there is a release pin, but I cant seem to find it
I have a 1980 Buick Regal Sport Coupe. My dad and I are working on restoring it. I am looking for the seals and parts that go around the rear quarter windows. the original pieces are cracked and will not work.
