    Question about blocks

I love it when people read part of a thread and then leave a 2 cent comment, SMH!

    MPG

When we are driving our cars normally without getting into boost its basically like any other engine. On pump gas we run low timing in order to run higher boost. If you run a naturally aspirated engine with low timing you will get poor fuel economy/performance. Several years ago I had to...

85 buick v6 feedback carb specs

Tps close to 0.50 volts. You will need an old rpm/dwell meter. You will also need special tool to adjust m/c solenoid dwell (Thexton makes these).Connect 1 lead to bright green connector on engine (can not recall exact location, may be close to thermostat near front of engine) using 6 cylinder...

    doe's it work! Power plate

Whether it works or not, the RJC pp should not cause idle issues. You may have induced a vacuum leak during install. Posted from the TurboBuick.Com mobile app

    Advise for a LT1 build

Although frowned upon the LT1 can be built to run well. A friend of mine had a high mileage (200k) z28, ring n bearing freshen up, home ported heads, zz3 camshaft, precision 2800 stall and a hypertech chip (thats right, no custom tune) and ran 12.47 at 109. Larry Larson does it again!!!

Yeah it is "out of control" but you have to give them props for getting it done. I'm sure some guys 11-12 second rides on this board would have difficulty completing the Drag Week journey. Posted from the TurboBuick.Com mobile app

Fan is not kicking on at all, overheating.

Modern computer chips (or most older ones for that matter) turn the fan on sooner than 215. My fan switch is not connected but the harness is connected to a toggle switch inside I use to cool the engine down in the pits at the dragstrip. Posted from the TurboBuick.Com mobile app
