    Body bushing kit 22 piece

yeah that's weird, do you have two different bolt sizes as well? If all the bolts are the same size, but the total thickness of the bushings are different, to me that would be odd...one way to test would to be putting in the bolts with each bushing attached, and if you get a bolt that ends up...

    Body bushing kit 22 piece

See if anything at this link helps: https://www.turbobuick.com/threads/body-bushing-question.461932/page-2#post-3996851 Check page 2, went through a similar effort 6 months ago, but with the polys.

    New Spoolfool Carbon Fiber bumpers.

Are there any strength issues with these bumpers relative to the factory steel ones? In other words, if I get into an accident with the full carbon (not just shell) bumpers on my car, will they provide the same amount of protection as the stockers?

    AC O Ring Seals

Hi All, I'm in the process of repairing/converting my AC to R134. During the removal of components I'm noticing that there are not O-rings at every connection (probably why the system never worked). Hoping one of you all could provide an overview of where orings are required. I'm assuming the...

87 GN Sound System, Speaker Options, Wiring, Electrical Upgrade

I recently redid the entire setup in my car using CDT audio products. They have a set of crossovers that take the amp input and split it across three drivers per channel (I believe the cross over was an MX100, or something like that). My setup in the front is 1 inch tweeters in the doors, 5.25...

What front Frame brace to buy

That's what I purchased, some would say its to harsh of a ride, compared to the rubber. But the polyurethane will last longer. If you go with the polyurethane, put some grease on them prior to installation to reduce squeaks. Here's an article I used when selecting the grease as some can have...

What front Frame brace to buy

Shouldn't be to bad then, just use a lot of penetrating oil in the days leading up to the effort.

What front Frame brace to buy

I wish I would have thought of that...would have saved a few i'm sure. However some of my bolts were so far gone that I'm pretty sure touching them would have cracked them.

What front Frame brace to buy

Unless they were recently replaced, I'd assume they are destroyed. Rubber degrades regardless of use.

What front Frame brace to buy

I just replaced all the body bushings (including adding the GNX which is by far the easiest). Some of the issue's I encountered were as follows: 1. Bolts spun in cage nuts/broken bolt - happened 7 times - requires you to go in from interior of the car, cut out a section of the body in the floor...

    TR6 ignition 87 GN

Con, it requires a stock style cam sensor (the one without the LED) otherwise it doesn’t operate correctly. Otherwise it’s a big improvement over the stock setup.

    camshaft sensor ?

Its much easier to find the new style cap (with the LED) than the old style cap. The new style cap doesn't work well with the after market ignition system (ie Bob Baileys). If you need the original cap, there are folks on here that will sell you a NOS, but they are not cheap. If you plan on...

    Floor Pan Plugs

Hi All, I recently replaced the rear floor pans in my car as well as primed/sealed the entire pan (front to back including under the rear seats). In the process of doing so I removed all 4 plugs; the two in the foot well for rear passengers and also the small circular two under the rear seats...
