    Fastest stock block?

Yeah, I wasn't sure........ What was the 60' on that 9.23 run?

    Fastest stock block?

Haha, yeah. We are pretty good about watching our knock sensors, with the heaton M90 you make one pulley swap without enough supporting mods and you will chip pistons. Instill that in all the new guys, and we have a pretty good community and knowledge base. No detonation, no problems. Now...

    Fastest stock block?

I am pretty sure it is still stock pistons, just an L36 block instead of an L67 (NA instead of supercharged, 9.5:1 instead of 8.5:1 ) I could be wrong, but I know that they have been using L36 blocks. Nothing beats blowing up your drag car and getting a new bottom end for $300-400 bucks...

    Fastest stock block?

Not sure on the car's weight, we have a couple in the 9's and its a little hard to beat specifics out of them since some are competing vendors. I don't think the heads are anywhere near the same, but we do have a vendor just finishing up some full aftermarket cast aluminum heads  so...

    Fastest stock block?

Sorry in advance, the search is timing out and I am not sure which would be the right section for this. What is the fastest stock block LD5/LC6 pass? The 3800 SII/III guys want to know. We are at a 9.364@148.73 with a twin turbo setup in a Grand Prix

    interesting info on meth.

It is corrosive *as a liquid*. If you soak aluminum in methanol, it will eat it but misting a little into an intake manifold is fine

    roots blower alky ques.

I've got the L67 tuning figured out pretty well, but I also can't afford to blow up my transmission just yet to I keep it conservative. While the PCM is hard to tune, its far from impossible. Most of the L67 guys like to bolt on and go, custom tunes were almost unheard of until about a year...

    Anyone with electronics background!

Wink wink huh  ? Well, unfortunately it is now the weekend, so I don't want to call and bother you. Would you feel comfortable PM'ing me the info? If not let me know a good time to call. Thanks :D Edit: Beep beep: What is: the bypass switch on the pump? Doesn't it still pulse...

    Anyone with electronics background!

Well, the more I think about it the more I like the pressure switch idea. Razor brought up a good point that voltage to the pump does not necessarily mean its spraying, that coupled with the PWM problem is turning me away from the electronics side. With a 50-100 psi Hobbs switch, I can...

    whos had alky pump failures?

Well isn't the point of it to scare you? Detonation should be scary

    Anyone with electronics background!

Well, I am still an idiot. I will just set up a 1/8" NPT "T" fitting before my check valve, get like a 50 psi hobbs switch and a relay and do it that way. Everything else was just too complicated

    Anyone with electronics background!

Well, it was my idea. The PWM of the controller would probably confuse a standard relay, I hadn't considered that. A little while ago, I wanted to activate a solenoid. I built the recommended MOSFET circuit, but could not for the life of me get it to work  . The same type of...

    Methanol and stoich mixture?

Thanks, thats exactly the type of info I was looking for :D Just started using a 50/50 mix, and I am riiiiiiiiiiich. Time to pull some fuel, I really need to hook up my wideband

    Methanol and stoich mixture?

Gotcha. I can get methanol for cheeeeeap in Tulsa, $2.10 a gallon, but I know WW fluid is far from ideal. I figured there were too many variables to be sure about an exact ratio, never hurts to ask though. Thanks

    Methanol and stoich mixture?

Yeah, 30% was easy math, I doubt I am even using 10%. I know we run richer then stoich at WOT, which is exactly my point: what if you add enough methanol to be too close to the stoich a/f for both fuels combined? Just to illustrate, say you run 50% methanol 50% gas, your stoich is around 11.8:1...
