86 T-Type about to be fast.
10/25/13 Engine pulled and taken apart.
10/27/13 Block dropped off for prep.
5/13/14 Any day short block will be done should of been done sooner but had to have surgery after snowboarding accident.
86 Regal T-Type in the oven.
Motor pulled and broken down: 10/25/13
Factory 3.8l block dropped off at machinist: 10/28/13
Game plan:
- As of now plan is reuse stock crank if no damage
- ARP stud the stock rods
- JE pistons or re use the stock pistons with good set of rings after machinist does his magic.
-RJC Girdled of course.
- cam/turbo is hydraulic roller cam with a 6262 waiting to here from Bison on specs desired.
- Champion Ported Irons
- GN1 Ported OEM Intake Manifold.
Any advice on my would be greatly appreciated. Goal is mid to high 10 second street car running E85.
