    I believe it should be around 700 at crank. I'm running a pretty safe tune so not much timing when it gets spooled up, around 12*. Thinking of making it a meth head and being able to really move with more timing but its fun like it is!!!!!

    4l80 question

    I was able to use the bracket from a B&M shifter on mine but I am using a cable from the column shifter. Took some rigging but wanted the sleeper look.

    I built a log manifold similar to the KB racing for my S475. Running 80lb injectors with no problem but keep it below 12lb boost.

    I used a cable and transmission brackets from a B&M ratchet shifter for a 700r4 I had from a previous truck. I built a bracket for the firewall and bolted cable to column shift lever as shown in pics.

    Dome Light Removal

    Sorry for the dumb post guys but I was hoping someone could give me some insight into how you remove the lens for the round dome light in our cars. I need to change the bulb in mine but don't want to tear the dang thing up trying to get it off. Thanks in advance for the help!!!

    Rear End Gearing

    Yeah I know it wont be the fastest car and will have traction issues due to sidewall but I built it to be a fun car to drive and have plenty of power. That's why I'm looking at the gearing as it will see lots of road trips.

    The 18" wheels...I'm not wanting to have any issues with the tires contacting the fender wells. The wheel size limits the tire options for a drag radial.

    The biggest I can go with my wheels and still fit the car is 27". It's a turbo 5.3 and I've been reading that a taller gear actually helps it build boost. Here's a pic is the car.

    I am thinking of going with. 3.08 or 3.23. The rpm at 80 with the 3.08 would be 2500 which I believe would be better.

    What rear end gear ratio are you guys using in your cars? I have a 4L80E in my car with a 3.73 rear end gear now with a 25" tire and it is running to many rpm at highway speed for me. I'm contemplating a 3.23 or 3.08 swap but am looking for some insight.

    The transmission was 4K for the rebuild and converter, BW S475 turbo, Holley dominator efi system, deka 80# injectors, stock long block.

    No the car is not in that price. Now close to 4K is the transmission, but there are no stock parts left on my car. If you aren't looking for a tremendous amount of power you can get away cheaper. I bought moser axles, auburn pro differential, new gears, and just about all parts are good name...

    I haven't dynoed it yet, I'm still working out some bugs in the wastegate system. It is supposed to be set at 10 psi but the first time out it hit 20 and the second it hit 15, both times sending turbo piping flying but it was pulling pretty good!!!
