Are you telling me the only difference is the VIN #?!! (Sorry I'm fairly new here) I would have thought that a diesel would have been heavier than a comparable gas engine and required more mass in the front end.

I believe that Impala you are thinking of on MTV hboost, was highly modified so it would produce that 1000lb-ft of torque.
BTW what is the differences from the diesel powered Olds from a GN? Is the frame beefed up?

Wow,...... spent all that money on the paint, stereo, and wheels/tires and didn't even bother to drop a buck fifty at the carwash to clean up the engine. What a tool. He should be slapped into last week for doing that to that car.

I know of 1 that was a burgandy color and I can't remember the others I think 1 might have been a grey green metallic color. You mentioned people swapping vette motors into them, are people just looking for sleepers? Are they super lightweight?

What is with all the volvo wagons with GN drivetrains? Do they simply bolt in or are people going for the look?

They had a GN powered El Camino in Hot Rod Magazine about 5-6 years ago. The article was called "12 sec and 20+ MPG". The old boy had slid a GN drivetrain under an El Camino and was actually getting close to 30mpg and bumping 11 sec in the 1/4. Seeing this reminded me of that article. Would be a...
