Well guys, if they don't get it open by this weekend (Sept. 22,23), chances of racing at midamerica will be slim to none. This weekend is the largest event of the year for the track by far. It's the Last Run car show which brings in anywhere from 650 to 800 cars plus there's usually 100 to 300...

Walnut Park campgrounds are going to be the easiest to get around in if you don't camp at the track. I don't know if there is electrical hookups or what all is available. You'll just have to call 620-441-4444. It's right off highway 166 and is only about 7.5 miles from the track.
