I had my car in Racetronix's booth at Motorama 2017 this weekend past. We spent lot of time getting the car ready for the show as it was all part 2 weeks before the show started. Countless hours late at night till 2-3 in the morning getting the engine assembled and put back in.

Firing it up for the first time

Adding a Racetronix blowoff valve, new air intake pipe and GNX front flares

Just curious, why you running a distributor?

I had no luck with ignition modules and coil packs about 15 years ago, went distributor and never looked back. For me it's a very easy system to manage and diagnose when ever there is a issue. 7 Series MSD ignition system provides plenty of spark, and my plugs with 120lb injectors burns very clean in city and idling.

Thanks for the info. It's good to know.

Damn that looks good! I usually go to that show to shake the winter blas and this year the wife and I took a different road trip. It figures, I don't go and there is a Buick in the sea of Camaros and Mustangs ;)

Wow! Just Wow Mike! You know why most of us love your car so much? Not only is it showcar quality, but the fact you drive the wheels off it as well! I doesn't just sit there and look pretty! Salud!

I really like the car but every time I see pictures of the engine it just doesn't look complete.

That stock alternator just stands out to me.. polish it up of buy a chrome on and then it will look final imop

I'm not a fan of chrome or polished alternators on a street car. I like the looks of my alternator. It's been disassembled, glass beaded, painted and oven baked to the same color as my intake. I think it came out quite well, besides the 4" air intake pipe makes it hard to see anyways.

Mike, you have one of the sexyist cars out there. Congrats on your dedication and attention to detail. I'd love my car to look half as good as yours does.
