Casper's Electronics

Sounds like a plan. Eastwood only has two retail stores and one of them is only 2 hours from me. Fun place to visit! Did you also buy a new fuel injector harness? I bought the Racetronix one from Don Cruz. It was $70.
no I didn't buy that harness. mine is in really good shape, but will probably change in future. spent a lot of money on her this winter. getting close to $3 k this winter

Lol oh well what's another $75...Painting my oil pan now. It was leaking bad!
Just finished painting firewall and started to install new harness. It's a little more difficult than I thought. To me it seems like the Casper harness is longer than the original but that could be due to it being new and not bent up over last 30 years. He's a few pics. They didn't turn out very good it was dark my shop with doors closed.

I got a similar speed nut at the hardware store. How did the fusible links turn out at the starter? I thought they were a bit short. I replaced the little heater core hoses and now it leaks. Can't find a copper heater core except an old one on Ebay. Local radiator shop said the joints go bad from sitting so I have to settle for an aluminum one.

One thing I learned is that you won't need a field fix harness as the new engine harness solves the volt light issue.

I haven't put motor back in yet. I bought all new heater core hoses from highway stars. Hopefully nothing leaks. Won't be putting motor in for a month or two still waiting on my champion heads and intake

I was able to position mine to get plenty length at the links.

Updated pictures. Have engine compartment almost all back together. Stripped firewall and frame and repainted. Sand blasted all the brackets and heats shields and painted.

I think mine had 3 or 4 grounds, not sure if one was for the pm or not. I have the ground stretcher on the firewall. I replaced the pm with a hydroboost. Got tired of sending it back to Cardone under warranty.

If you ever buy their harness you won't need a field fix anymore..
