Let's see what you got! Firearm Picture Thread

Completely understandable. With the current political situation we have in office right now and the so called illegal gun trading across the border that's supposed to be going on between the western states and mexico I won't say what I might or might not have in my collection. All of it is within current US legal status, but the fact that a few would like to take the legal status away from US citizens, I won't risk it. All of my stock was legally purchased mostly from individuals in a state that I reside in at the time or one that borders it, which is legal under current US law. Posting a simple hunting rifle like I have is the most I'm willing to do right now. If things get better in the future I'd have no issues posting some of my other items but as for now I see no reason to give anyone a chance to know much more than I have already.:)

My thoughts exactly, even though I'll admit, I'm guilty myself of showing stuff on the net from time to time.
On a good note, thanks Shane and Jay for the new Firearms Forum, definitely a worth while addition.

However, I will say this, please take heed of these two videos. This is why you all, should be preparing.

And not showing everything that you have behind closed doors.
Buy and prepare now while you still can everyone.

I'll leave you all with this quote...

"No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms. The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government"

Glad I could point you toward the new section.:) If you hand load I've got a heck of a load for the 6.5x55 I can PM you. 140 grain boattail bullet seems to work the best for me and it's the same basic european load you get if you buy from there. I also have a great load for the 7.9x57 Mauser that will knock just about anything off it's feet.:)
Ya go ahead and send them recipies.

Just remeber one thing guys. If it comes down to it you can go into your profile and remove attachments that you've posted if you feel like you need to. I've removed some in a thread like this some time ago after the last election.:)

This is the model of Wilson Combat that I bought. Real pics when I can get some taken.
the Republik of Kali legal black over stainless model. It also is much nicer in person.
Luckily I not only found it in stock but I bought it before the $500 price jump they just took about 7 months back.
Generally special dealer order only rarely found in stock.
This has the smoothest slide to frame fit that I have ever witnessed on a gun of any type.
These are lapped in by hand and consequently, there is no play between the slide and frame.
These are considered to be the best of the best of the limited production & / or semi-custom handguns.

Wilson Combat | Classic Supergrade

Nice , Gary which one is your favorite????

Ronnie:
After buying these last two guns, my mini-arsenal consists of 1) Springfield Trophy Match, 2) Les Baer Premier II, 3) Jim Hoag custom 6" long-slide, 4) Wilson Combat Classic SG, & 5) Ed Brown Executive target, I have come to the conclusion that no one gun will satisfy one's quest for the ultimate handgun. It would be between the Wilson Combat or the Ed Brown. The Ed Brown due to it's beavertail (grip safety) fits my hand the best and feels the most comfortable in my hand. It only lacks the 40 LPI checkering on the rear of the slide. However, nothing matches the feel of smoothness of a hand lapped frame to slide fit from the Wilson Combat Super Grade series of handguns.

The supergrade is no joke. I had the opportunity to handle and shoot one and they are awesome. Just wish i could afford one. The professional is more than i needed anyways. How are your groupings with it?

Bring the 38 down when you bring the heads down Don. I'd like to try a few rounds through it if you wouldn't mind.:)

Have a Saiga 12ga in the works... going to make it look just like the .410, but considering the tax stamp and going for an 8in barrel:eek:

I'm not worried about anybody breaking into my house... somebody's always home, FL castle doctrine, and the kids being as good shots as I am.. mean bad news for any perps. Forget the neighbors being armed as well.... LOL.

Loving the pics here....
