Summer Western PA Meets !!!!!!!

Hope none of you guys had your cars flooded out last night. Weather insanity. My garage floods during heavy rains and the Buick was sitting in about 4" of water for quite awhile last night. Once I get home tonight I'll have to pull it out and do some cleaning up.... Jeez....

I'll post a few pics later on, lol...

Yeah I have a leak in my garage roof. Luckily the day before the big storm, I went over and took my cloth cover off and tarped off half the car. Still havent gone over to see how bad it got leaked on. Good luck with your car.

Things not looking good around here. After all the rain Wed. we discovered the garage roof is now bubbled. Trying to get a hold of a roofer right now is like winning the lottery. The GN is OK though.;) Last night was extremely eventful to say the least. About 5 or so years ago a 70 + year old Oak got struck by lightning during a storm and split it right down the middle. Every year the lean on half the tree would increase, so we know it was going to fall, just thought we had more time. At 11:30 last night we heard a lot of crashing, popping, and breaking. Lets just say its bigger then we thought it was:eek: . As of right now one half of the tree is still up and the other half is down, sort of. I'll try to get pictures of the bad boy, its impressive to say the least. Today's storms should be fun!!!! Stay safe fellas.

doesnt look like any water got on the car at all. weird.

Anyway I hope this weather holds out tonight, going to Dave Matthews tonight, then camping tomorrow.

Man!!!

WELBY, HOPE YOUR CAR IS OK,GREENSBURG,AND PENN GOT HIT BADLY, I INSPECTED 4 FLOOD CARS,MANY MORE TO LOOK AT..LET US KNOW HOW THINGS ARE.. THANKS..

Don't think I am going to make it to Irwin this weekend. I got haggled into doing other things.

Sinkhole, in the parking lot?

PS Car ran great up and back to Oil City. My buddy was working on an Iroc for his friend. I pulled in and gave the two of them a ride. When we got back they said, "Lets just scrap the Iroc and buy one of these."

Yeah Ill give you a ring on Monday. I posted up about the low 02 readings at WOT with no knock in the turbotech board on here. Maybe the can throw some more ideas out there.

Thanks for the concern guys, my car's fine. It's flooded out several times because the driveway slopes slightly towards the garage door and the geniuses that built they place never put a drain strip in front. Water backs up against the door and seeps in. Just so happens that this time a LOT seeped in, lol. Doesn't help that the floor is heaved a bit and the drain is sitting a bit higher than the rest of the floor, rather than lower :p

Thanks welby for the header panel. Ill let you know about that motor if my buddy wants it.

You're welcome, I'm glad you're almost back in business :)

Yeah, let me know. The motor starts and runs fine. I don't have an engine hoist available anymore, but I'm guessing you do or know someone that does :D . I could just pull the car into the driveway, we could yank everything and I'd just push it back to where I'm keeping it beside the garage...

Not much

Not much here. just workin on the car. Was over Mr. Fricks on Friday and saw the 2 flood cars he took in to work on. I feel bad for Dan. cars got hit bad. Welby, if you need a hoist, I have one @ my garage in Greensburg. Also, if any of you guys know of any turbobuicks or N/A cars for sale. Let me know. Looking for another one.

How is the car coming stage? Heard it wasnt too bad. I am assuming that Bill finished up with Jay's low mileage GN then? Bill, if you get a chance, want to talk to you to see if you are interested in doing some bodywork. Got a 4" cowl hood for my car and the damn thing hits the windshield when you try to open it! wanted to see if you would be interested in cutting it back for me. Let me know sir!

Hope to start getting to the shows to talk to you guys. Still workin on the car. Here are some motor pics as of a couple months ago.

Chris
