Racin Jason Betwarda's Legendary twin turbo white Foxbody convertible Mustang.

Seen this video posted on another site and felt I had to include it in the Library as it is truly a piece of what I would consider Turbocharged Drag Racing history.

YouTube Video

Racin Jason Betwarda's white 5.0 Foxbody convertible Stang was one of the first 5.0 Foxbody Mustangs to run in the 7's and of course he did it with the help of the Turbo Buick guru himself Ken Duttweiler as well as help from Job Spetter of Turbo People. Sadly, Jason died in his turbocharged red 93 Mustang coupe when he hit the wall back in 99, but he will forever be remembered as one of the true Pioneers in Drag Racing a Turbocharged vehicle as we know it today in the various HU sportsman classes such as the popular "Outlaw 10.5" and "Drag Radial".

This was also back when the Buick vs Mustang rivalry was running strong as you can see in the second pic~

This is weird. I was cleaning the garage to fit both the GN and my foxbody this weekend. I found the magazine where he had the center fold in it. That stang was incredible back in the day.
