Thumbs up Dusty Bradford's EZ Street Turbo SBC Regal in action last week at Montgomery *Videos*

Dusty was fighting traction issues all weekend as well as some burnt high gear clutches in his glide, but he still managed to go 3 rounds in Elims which is quite an accomplishment in such a competitive class such as EZ Street!

Here's an EZ street Stang that unfortunately had a wheel standing crash into the wall~
http://www.bellracing.ws/081806%20EZ%20Street%2037.WMV

And Shane Stack's badass red Monte SS with the new turbo SBC SB2.2 headed combination
http://www.bellracing.ws/081806%20EZ%20Street%2010.WMV
Ran 5.4 @132mph first time out on only 13lbs of boost so once turned up it should be quite nasty to say the least!

Thanks to Dusty for sharing these with us

Last time I counted I have close to 90 passes on it without an issue. It's out of the car now so I could pull the heads and have them machined for a larger diameter valve spring. The cam was also too small to get me into the 7600 rpm range I need to be in so I'm swapping cams. I have a big race last weekend of this month and I plan to make it. I want to have the motor re- ringed and freshened up but most shops can't work you in in less than 2 weeks for that type of work. If they can't get to it I'll be putting it back in with the new cam and going back racin'

Ha, Shure ain't thar Looie. I hope to be busy putting the TRZ manual rack on it while the engine's in the shop. I did have one guy say he'd hone the block and let me use his engine room to put it back together since I need it quickly.

I've saw some pics of it on a malibu board. It's listed on their website but no good pics of it. After I priced out everything it looks like a reasonable price on the kit. I got to call yo boy Cal tomorrow and see if he can get me a hook up on it.

It's supposed to be about 40# or so I hear and I need all the weight off the nose I can get.

Good Going!

Great Vids!
I was at this race in Montgomery,Al a couple weeks ago and Dusty could have went farther with a little traction. Great to see an Alabama guy with Buick bodied car mixing it up with these fast guys.
Dusty, your car got a good pop from crowd on every pass.
Good Going!

Thanks Bob. I spoke to your son for a while. We were busy with several issues the entire weekend. I tree'd the guy in the 3rd round pretty bad, just didn't put the boost in soon enough. His 5.26 would have been hard to deal with. I haven't been faster than high 5.30's since the weather warmed up.

The crowd and folks stopping by usually like the car. If you look it's about the only one you'll see with full interior, wipers and all. I could get the weight down by hacking it all up but I like the real car look so I have to deal with the consequences.

You and I feel the same about the real car look. You will overcome the extra weight. Your car was the most real street car at the event and I admire that a lot. Good luck, you will only get faster.
Look forward to seeing you run at Reynolds.

Thanks for the link. I'll try and take the time to take pics when I do it.

Thanks Bob. You like having your car the same way and people know that. Look forward to seeing everyone in Reynolds also. We'll be there with a TSM car and also try to put mine in the 7.90's.
