Start with 30 -34 base and see what it likes.

93 or race gas?

You'll want to pull it down into the 15-18* range at 15# of boost on pump gas. Start low and see what happens.

HI,We do the timing change, at 28* work great good power, but the MSD dist have a 20*advance in timing.Ive been working with the MSD internals to low the advance to 15*cause the engine dont like the 8*at stall.
