fast question

what is the timming suppost to be set at on a sbc with a fast bank to bank?

I'm not sure what your asking specifically. If you want timing number to put into your map, that will depend on your combination. Specifically, boost, cylinder head, piston design, and engine size.

If your asking where to set the distributor for the computer to read. I needs to be higher than the highest timing number in your map. I usually set them at 40 degrees btdc. But you need to check your rotor phasing.

If you are using your distributor for your crank signal it will depend on what FAST box you have. On a IPU type (30-113010) the crank reference angle should be at least 10 degrees higher than your highest timing. If you are using an HEI style (30-111010) it needs to be under 10 degrees. Like MeanMike said, check your rotor phasing.
