IAC Adjustment
I adjusted my IAC per John Pearcy's suggested procedures on www.89tta.com. Before and after the adjustment the idle counts range from 60 to 70+. I cannot get the counts to the recommended 20 to 40. Any suggestions?

Do you have a scan tool?
If you open the throttle blade they come down..If you close the throttle blade they come up. If you mess with the throttle blade you will need to reset the TPS and TV cable.I do adjustments 1/4 turn at a time and have the ecm relearn. With a scanmaster its a snap. Some chips like 20-40..others 60..some chips dont let the IAC change very fast..so do a small twist and ride around for a while. HTH Julio
