a/C elimination

I just pulled the motor on my TTA because I suddenly had a lot of blow by . While I have the motor out, I'm going to remove the A/C. Who knows what kind of idler/pulley I can put in place of the compressor? I'm thinking that an idler from a Chev truck with a 4.3 and no air will work. Does anyone know for sure?
