im in Villa Rica Ga....i bought the car off of ebay and flew in Albany Ny to get it. i went 10 miles and the car started skipping till it got so bad backfireing it quit and wouldnt start. found out the two rubber peices of hose attaching the inlet pipe past the MAF sensor was split. That made a whole series of problems like the computer smelt burnt so got a used one. Tryed a crank shaft sensor, a new MAF sensor, spark plugs, spark plug wires, igntion pack top.these guys were just redneck part swappers. They did not change things systematicly,so the problem still could be there.this would cause me 3 hours waiting on a part just to show that they didnt diagnose the problem properley. I am not a bad mechanic i just dont know that much about these cars and i think ive got a harder problem to find. Not good for a beginer. The car ran GREAT for 10 miles!!! I am 8 hours into a 17 hour drive currently and paided 1300 to pull this thing home. If one of you guys could help me i still have it on the trailer and can get it to you on monday.my son Brian is helping me type this because im driving. Thank you very much and looking forward to being involved! Jeff Andrews

You are in the TTA section, maybe going to the GN/T-Type specific sections will result in more advice ... best of luck ---
