2004-R diff than GN ?

For awhile I thought the 200's were different when we looked @ Frank the Beermans' car because of the electronic speedo vs the mechanical in the GN. But now looking again, I think that we have a different insert into the speedo area which takes our electronic module.

Sound right ?

The case on all 2004r's is the same. They were all cast the same. As far as Buick and TTA tranny's.

Now I dont know if the plastic gear on the shaft is the same on the TTA and GN.. that is a good question as gear ratios are different between both cars.

Valve body is suppossed to be calibrated differently to help with the "clunk" that the GN's do when going into gear. That is why the GN is a BRF and the TTA is a TAF. Probably couldnt tell the difference.
