Just a note I made 12 passes in two days in hottttttttt weather. I was having trouble keeping my boost up as the heat was killing me. IAT's on this run (air filter IATS) were mid 120's. During the week I saw a low of 95 at 10 AM and a high of 135 at 2 PM. The alky worked wonderfully and I saw 2.1 degrees of knock on the 2/3 shift one pass. Not sure what happened but it went away so fast I didn't get out. Must have been false. I used exactly 1 gallon of alky for 12 passes so about 10 ounces of alky per one pass. Seems awful high but the turn on is 4 PSI and the knob is at 6. Maybe some evaporated? Who knows.

I tried turning the timing up but for some reason I have a voltage drop at startup erasing all my settings. Overall I had a great weekend. I plan on going out to the Buick versus Ford event in Noble, OK October 27th for some cooler air. Maybe after brake pads, more timing, a little cooler air, and a little leaner, I can get that 11.9999999 pass or 110 in the 1/4. Those are my goals for the moment.

Thanks for reading,

Jason

Just a little update. Ran the car yesterday 5 more passes.

Best run of 12.13 @114.99 with a 1.9 60'. If I could get the 60' down I would be set. My BFG DR's are now dead and I plan on trying the MT 255/50/16 ones next.

That run was open dump, converter locked, 22-23 PSI in 1st and 2nd, and the boost spiked to 28 and a max of 29.1. All this was done on 91 octane pump gas and Julio's alky kit. No knock the entire day. The alky was doing some major work if you ask me.

The 6152E and a 3400 stall are on the shelf waiting to be installed. I will tackle the turbo next weekend for sure, or atleast start on it. Hopefully I can hit mid 11's or there abouts.

Jason

forgot to add...most of the gas was the same as when I first posted. I added 4 more gallons right before I left.

Congrats! Yea, if you get those 60's down in the 1.5's you should have a mid 11.

Def get some MT drag radials.. that will bring the 60 down big time.

Your alky consumption is normal.
