Belt tensioner and serpentine belt assembly - pls help
Hi folks,
please help a desperate guy... here is a pic of how it looked like before changing the belt tensioner assembly. i left the old serp belt alone, because i get the new one these days.  clear case, the belt tensioner. it seems it was not! now, after the changing, - except the belt - it looks like the same. the pulleys knock very hard when the engine is running. i put it off immediately. now, could it be, the belt is too long? but i didn't do anything to the belt. last year there was no problem at all! but now, the pulleys are so close to another. this belt is a 65 incher, i ordered a gatorback 63,5 incher. will this be the cure? what do you think? matt

Correct belt is 1605mm
Is what it is. Others have had success with other lengths. Search TTA belt
