TTA ECM's

I have a question about the ecm for my TTA. Are there any differences in the ecm for this car vs. other GM cars??? What ecms are interchangeable with the Trans Am??

Same as the 86-87 GN's. I vaguely remember awhile back Razor posting about different cars and there ECM's. Maybe he can chime in.

Cars that shared the same coil pack ignition module.

There were some cars in 85/86 that had the 3.0 FWD motors like Lesabre's, Delta88's, etc that had the same 7148 ecm.

Most junkyards have a cross listing. Use the 87 Buick Regal Turbo for a reference.. you'll see all the cars that pop up. But they were from the 86/87 era.

Now the difference in the 3.0 FWD cars was the Calpak in the ecm. Calpaks are available through GM for the TTA, and the chip was different. But same computer. So you would be replacing both of the chips under the cover.
