Wired Knock issue

When driving my 92 hybrid in regular part throttle cruising at highway speeds my knock sensor starts at green and goes all the way to red back to green up to red over and over like it's cycling.
My scanmaster pick it up too.
If I'm on a regular highway at say 25 to 40MPh it will ago up to yellow or so and is not as frequent.
Where should I start?
It only seems to be at cruising speeds, if I hammer it off the line it's fine with only nomal knock when it shifts gears.

PS.
My 92 is a complete TTA drivetrain swap (it was TTA 891) so the car in effect is a TTA.
