Question Tranny Mods????

Gonna be pulling the tranny out soon and I was wondering what upgrades should be performed, ie stall speed or any other items that the experts on the board know about. Should I buy a built tranny or have mine rebuilt? My car is driven and occassionally raced but mod. wise it is stock but in the future comes chip, alky kit(Razors), gutted cat and drag radials. Thanks in advance.
