BOOOO!!!! track times....

I went to the track yesterday for the first time ever!!! Wednesday night drags at infinion raceway (sears point). Anyways the times are as follows....

First run was only 14 psi no alchy and im running on BFG KDW's

Temp: 72
Relative Humidity: 63
Absolute Barometer: 29.76

R/T: .510
60':2.163
330':5.749
1/8:8.751
mph:81.80
1000':11.350
1/4:13.559
mph:101.87

On the first run i raced a chevelle. I was ahead of him by a half second at the 1000' but he went through the trap at 103MPH while only running a 14.005

Second run boost @ 17psi alchy on

R/T:.350
60':1.982
330':5.545
1/8:8.549
mph:81.97
1000':11.143
1/4:13.351
mph:101.98

My scan master recall said 760 o2 and .3 KR

Third run was a disaster, i have a video of all three runs i will post when i get some more bandwith to host it. 19-20psi alchy 690 o2 and 0 KR. Basically i came off the line burning both tires slightly, before i hit 60' the tires had stopped spinning but then one tire suddenly broke loose. I basically fell on my face as the diff failed and one tire when lighting up and i started to slow down. I had to let off until the tire slowed down and then i got back on it and still went through the trap 3mph faster...

r/t:.050
60':2.134
330':6.137
1/8:9.127
mph:83.02
1000':11.669
1/4:13.817
mph:105.04

BOOOOO i know this car can do better, but on the track it just didnt cut it. I only got three runs in but i'm very depressed... There was another 87 GN there with a pt-51 and alchy and i saw him do a 14.4 so maybe it just wasnt the day for turbo buicks. Basically im stuck i thought she was running good from the seat of my pants test on the street but track times tell a different story. What do i do from here so i can go back next wednesday and redeem myself...

Is the alky actually working? Car didnt fatten up or pickup when the boost was increased..

690=big problem.. like a future head gasket candidate.

Buy some tires.. not those POS wood tires your running. Minimum Nitto Drag Radials. Without tires.. you'll never 60 foot that car. Without 60 foot.. BOOOOOOO is what you'll get

Alright well my cheap ass is gonna by some mickey tompson's so i can be less disgraceful next wednesday. Any little tuning things i can do in the meantime. How do i tune my o2 to optimum levels? Whatever i got to do i want to do it cause 13.3 is not exceptable.

And like i mentioned in my last run i completly lost traction but only to one wheel, meaning my diff for the most part failed. After letting off the gas for a good second until the tire slowed down and the diff hooked up, i still ran through the trap 3mph faster. Where should i get a replacment diff and is it possible to rebuild mine.

Time to spend some money and hopefully also learn how to tune this thing properly

That car will have no problem running deep 12s. You just need to get the alky dialed in for the boost you want to run.
