Probably a dumb question
When changing the chip is the only way to do it by disconnecting the battery? Or is there an ECM wire to disconnect like the GNs?
I did a search and found my answer. Thanks

No, on the TTA's, to kill the power to the ECM for a chip change, you have to do the following:
- Completely air down the passenger rear tire to reset the ECM geo-stabilization system. - Turn the left turn signal on to divert battery power to the driver's side of the vehicle, dissapating any stored energy in the right (ECM) side of the vehicle. - Honk the horn twice - pause for 2 seconds - honk three times - pause for 2 seconds - honk once to progam the ECM that the engine size is 2-3-1 aka 231ci. ![]()
