Decal placement???

Can someone give me the measurements for the position of the door and window decals.
If you could give dimensions like how high above the door molding and how far from the edges of the door.

Any information will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Jim

Jim,

Here's a link to take you to some pics of the pace cars and where the decals were located http://www.89tta.com/indyscrapbk.htm.
I don't have measurements but the placements are pretty straight foreward. You will notice when you look at the pics that they placed the door decals in 2 different positions, 1 position is directly below the door handle to the back of the recess (probably putting the edge of the decal on the door line) the 2nd is moving the decal forward so that the edge of the decal starts at the front of the door handle recess. The window decal is in the upper shaded area with the top of the decal touching the windshield seal. HTH

i think it was 89tta.com that had the templates.... maybe it was only for the badges not the decals? i forget.... my guess is the decals were all shipped in the owners box. if they were installed - they were dealer installed or owner installed.... hence the reason why some are centered on the door and some are under the door handle.

personally i say centered looks better...

compared to the under-the-door-handle...
