TE45a

when do these turbos start comming into boost for you guys? I just got my combo together with 72#ers and 3500 stall, also whats the max effiency for boost.

25-30 lbs is the sweet spot. I run at 30lbs and it pulls like mad.

That turbo doesn't really start making power untill 25 psi. After that it pulls hard and can make some good power.

87 Harness and ECM, "484" block 4.1 J&E Pistons, Full floating stock rods, stock crank, Girdle, CHAMPION GNr heads fully ported, T&D shaft mounted, Comp 218-212 roller, 70mm tb, sheet metal upper, 4 inch inlet pipe, Turbonectics 72mm BB q-trim 4 bolt turbo, P.S. intercooler, atr headers, 3.5 dp, custom dual 2.5 stainless exhaust with utralflows

BRF 200r4 built with alto reds, Billet servo, Transgo shift kit, Forward drum, CK's 3600 9 inch nlu, custom pan with rear sump.

GTA fronts with LS1 front brakes and Baer rears. Chrome moly custom upper and lowers with 3.42 gears and moser axles.

your gonna love it!

your combo is similar to mine, try launching from an idle, (just stab it)
you won't believe it! use a bleeder valve for quicker spool.
you will never have good rear tires again!
I made 619 rear wheel horse power with mine, (iron heads, stock intake, stock manifolds, )
I agree, it likes 25 + lbs, you'll need alky to supplement..

i only have 25 miles on the new engine, but i drove it home from work today (TOYOTA tech) and stabbed the throttle a little, bout (10-14psi) and when that thing started to hissss at me it started to MOVE i let off when it backfired a little due to a Fat tune but that thing started to get the blood going..I need to break it in hopfully by that time i can get money for a stand alone to tune it

Te45a turbo

I had this turbo on my stage motor at 120km hour it would hasse the tires at 6 pounds of boost and go side ways its a killer turbo you will like it beleve me

yeah it does seem like more boost and higher rpm's and this things gonna move. i'm glad to heard good feedback to , supposidly this has a Q or P trim in it for faster spool up too
