Just got off the phone with Cotton's performance and they told me that my new turbo and all the new turbo's will be double ball bearing. And all the new turbo's will be the new F1 wheel.

So Jack is right. I called them back and Gerry said is was, and Jack was unable to talk at that moment. So I spoke to Turbonectics, and he said it was a single bb. Sorry guys.

Patrick, I'm considering a GT6765 BB .63. On the compressor housings, is there any compelling reason to go with one over the other? I am specifically looking at the E and S housings. FWIW, I have "3000 stall" 9/11, though it regularly goes 3200-3400 when I boost up at the line... higher at times
I ask because right now I have a 4" CAI leading to a 3" MAF and pipe to a PTE-52 with the 3" inlet. All good, but the 2" outlet feeds 2.5" IC piping. Seems like a waste, but is it worth the expense to go to a 4" inlet in order to get a 2.5" outlet? I mean, what would be the appreciable gain in regards to spool up or power? As I see it, with the S housing I would also need to get a 2.5 turbo to IC hose, a 4" MAF pipe like the Buickgn.com 4" INLET Pipes with the insert to get down to the correct ID for the MAF. I suppose at that point I might put in a 3.5" MAF... why choke it with a 3"? Your, or others', thoughts?

S cover will have cooler charge temps than the E cover, as will the H cover have cooler temps over both the E and the S cover.
Slightly slower spool up tho when comparing the E cover to the H cover. Exactly how much, is not known. You can run 3" piping to the S cover, however, it would be best to run 4" piping on the S cover. 4" MAF pipe is a must for the H cover tho. HTH Patrick
