My new Extender chip has valet option just for that purpose. Anytime I've ever dropped a car to get worked on, I've recorded the mileage. Nothing like dropping off a car for an alignment and finding an extra 120 miles on it. Remember Ferris Bueller??

This is the exact reason I am present for all work done on my car. If I know it will be an 8 hour job on my car, I pack a lunch. I work hard for my car and I am not going to let some fool beat the hell out of it. Plus, I have a guy who works on my car that I trust so if I had to leave it with him for some reason I would feel ok with it in his hands. He works primarily on TR and TTA's anyway so he knows the deal.
