Mine's going to the track (Nat'l Trail) tomorrow.

In my garage I now have:
  • 1-pint of Permatex Teflon paste
  • 2 sets of unused GM Head Gaskets
  • 16 sets of blown head gaskets (various makes)
  • A 1/2" and a 3/8" torque wrench.
  • 1-pint of High Temp Anti-Sieze.
  • 1 can Right Stuff-style RTV (for intake ends)
  • 2 7/16"X14tpi Taps
  • 1-Quart of Acetone
All just for changing head gaskets.

Yes, I go this down to a science...but, boy do I dread doing it.

Should be, I have not gotten it back from them yet. I just looked at another GN as a daily driver. No prblems as HG's are easy to do. The only problem is you have to have 2 of them. As an idiot I only ordered one. Off to summit to get another one. You will have to come to the the 2nd annual CHG. I am sure their will be more in the future. It happens.

I'm ripping mine apart today. My minior header crack has turned into a gaping hole, car lags so bad, sounds horrible.

Hoping to have it back together before Friday.
