I have a pretty steep drop off in my back yard and I want to build a retaining wall. I haven't looked around for info yet, but was wondering if someone could point me towards some good sources of info.

Yeah, my front stairs are a project waiting to be done. The previous owners had painted them white but they have started peeling and they are real slippery in the winter. Ask my butt about that.
Powerwashed the majority of the paint off and will probably Zip Strip the rest off. Just not sure what to redo them with. Quikrete has a new product to refinish concrete and I might try that. Don't want to repaint them though so will probably retain the natural concrete look unless there is some miracle paint that will hold up to being outside and can stand being treated with ice melt in the winter.

Only problem is my front stairs are curved! Would be a bitch to cut them to fit.
