Who was it on this bored saying that GNX's didn't have side moulding? This is the second one that I've seen that has it. Could've been a dealer option.

I'm not sure, think side moldings could have been factory or deal installed. Mine is original and has side moldings. The guy down the street from me also has side molding and is the original owner but his molding is different from mine. He had the dealer put on red pin striping (gag!) so it's possible that his moldings were also a dealer option. The dealer will put on most anything for a price that doesn't void GM warrantee, effect emissions or safety.

I worked at a buick dealership in the 80's & we installed body side moldings on new cars as a way to make extra $$ for the dealership. Only if the new owner wanted to pay for it.
