Arrow GM builds new generation of V-6 engines

Interesting read. Notice that with .2 liters less displacement and no turbo it manages a hair more power than the LC2 yet the gas mileage is virtually identical, ours being rated at 17/25. Of course, with no turbo, it makes less torque.

But then how about the comment regarding the most powerful variant that will exceed 370bhp, with torque in excess of 350lb ft! It's turbocharged!

Impressive, but I sure wish they would lose that stupid plastic cover all manufactuers seems to put on top of their engines.

This is the same motor that Ken Duttweiler is using for the foundation of Bob Rieger's Sport Compact Racer.
I think they were talking around 1500hp with twin turbos.

What's going to make us sick is Holden will get the 370 HP turbo version, sooner than us and probably for $15-$25K less than we will have to pay. (Ours will be in a $50K cadillac, theirs will be is a $30K Chevy (holden))
