For those tired of hearing about the little boy toucher

Sad that you never hear about guys like this who make the ultimate sacrifice but you hear about little boy toucher singers and athletes that get paid way to much whom cry about their 43 million dollar contract is not enough.

Michael Jackson passed away at 3:15pm. Which is ironically when the big hand touches the little hand.

He hasn't been this stiff since Macaulay Culkin stayed the night.

Finally we are gonna get a REAL Alien Autopsy!

Michael Jackson dies of food poisoning . . . he just ate 12 year old wiener.

In Memory of the passing of Michael Jackson, All major retail stores will be having little boy's pants half off!

Since he was 90% plastic they decided to melt him down and turn him into Lego blocks so the kids can play with him for a change.

In memory of Michael Jacksons passing, Mc Donalds is introducing the MC-Jackson burger. It's 50 year old meat between 10 year old buns.

This is no joke. Mr. Jackson was my hero growing up. I learned to walk backwards from him. He also taught me that there were other soft drinks out there besides Cocacola. I also became "of age" when I finally understood what his song "Beat it" was all about.

Are you aware of the things that he was accused of?????? Instead of going to trial and actually proving his innocence..he pays them of....hmmmmm

Then instead of changing some of the VERY suspicious things he does, he continues and allows those charges to come up again....hmmmm

An innocent man would have done anything in his power to prove those accusations false. Nobody wants that following him around. Instead he just pays them off.....hmmmmmm

Then, he hangs his kid out of a window????????????????????????????????

Is that who you REALLY want as a hero? As said above...he was JUST an entertainer.

Didn't a father of one of the children go to Jackson demanding money OR he would go to the authorities? If it were my kid I would've hurt him or called the cops and yet this guy just wanted money. How strange.

It is strange. There WERE inconsistencies...which is why MJ should have fought it tooth and nail......if he was innocent.

If it was my kid...I woulda killed him. Literally.

Me to. I'm not sure there is one song from either of those entertainers that I liked. I could never understand the hype.

I like plenty of older bands/singers but those two did absolutely nothing for me.

I did like a few MJ songs tho.

The hell is wrong with jamming some "I Think We're Alone Now" then following it up with "The Number Of The Beast"??? I do this allllll the time.

Well, not all the time. I alternate between that mix CD & the one featuring Garth Brooks & Slayer.

It's actually VERY VERY funny you say that... given the type of VERY unorthodox person I am... I wish most of you could meet me, cuz you'd see.
I'm a conservative soldier, that has been military since 1992.. And I can tell you, that A. I look up to NOONE. PERIOD. As far as admire or respect? Sure, there's a few, to include the infantrymen that have gone before me, some of our founding fathers of our country, my parents, my team sergeant, my first sergeant, the men of my lrrp company, Babe Ruth, Nolan Ryan, people like this...
As far as sports heros or singers? I do love to listen to a few. I love music. I play the drums, and admire some of Mark Brzezicki's work. I love the old scottish new wave band "Big Country". I listen to them everyday, and they're very inspirational. Do I idolize them? Nope. In fact, athletes and actors and famous musicians can all go to hell for all I care. They're all "lets save the world, I hate guns" liberals, and 99% of them are all stupid in my opinion. Look at Tom Cruise or Angelina Jolie. Stupid. (think Angelina uses her own money for all those donations overseas? think again)

B. I don't have a favourite MJ song. Only the ones I could 'tolerate', which was Billy Jean. The rest I couldn't tolerate, cuz he was a flaming weirdo. Do I think he touched little kids inappropriately? No. Not once did I ever say that. If he was never convicted in a court of law, he's innocent by me. Did he love to have little kids spend the night? Yup. Do I think that's weird? YUP! Why in the holy HELL, would you want some OTHER mother****ers kids, spending the night in your house???? WHY???. YOU DON'T KNOW THEM KIDS. THEY AREN'T YOURS. WHAT ARE YOU DOING INVITING A FEW 10 YEAR OLDS OVER YOUR HOUSE FOR??? Tell me why this stupid mother****er held his kid over that ledge?? Why does this wierdo wear face masks, bleach his skin, and have multiple plastic surgeries, till he looked almost non human? Why? CUZ HE'S A WEIRDO, AND I DON'T LIKE WEIRDOS. And I don't approve of people putting him to godlike status, cuz he can moonwalk, and wear cool clothes... if you consider an all red plastic jacket with zippers all over it, one sparkly glove, with black flood dress pants on with white socks, 'cool'.

So I was never 'bashing' MJ for what the horribly inaccurate newspapers put out about him. I was only saying fu ck Michael Jackson, because this weirdo, is pretty much worshipped, for what.... What in the HELL did this one fruitcake do, to make him next to god himself? A day set aside just for a SINGER?? Sure, some singers are pretty cool, and help a lot of people, but in the end, you're still just a singer.... A person who sits around, writes songs down on a piece of paper, and sings them... Nothing got fixed, built, tore down, no people got saved, no injuries were repaired, no houses saved, no wars won, and no people were liberated, because of your little song... All you do, is sing in concerts, and then your record company sues people for millions, because some of your songs were downloaded without the right dues being paid.. and now you think you're a god..

So no...while I really enjoy some musicians work, and some athletes performances, I don't worship ANYone. I may admire a few people, but that's about it buddy. Sorry. And NO, I don't have a favourite MJ song. Sorry about that one too. Most of my favourite songs come from Big Country, The Sundays, and the rest are from various plain old top 40 groups from the 80's. I'm pretty boring there. Though I can assure you I idolize noone.

Thank you for your service to our country. God Bless.

I pretty much agree with Turbo6Smackdown.............MJ was an accused child molester that made music, (some of which was ok) and turned himself into a side show. He is dead and gone........leave him that way I say......Unfortunately he may wind up as Elvis did, worth more dead than alive, with an even bigger following........I liked Elvis.

I bet that he was probaly following his lawyers advice. Anyone that has money or fame is a target for others. Envy, jealousy, greed, and contempt are just a few of the negative things the masses feel towards celebs. In the case of someone like MJ do you think you could have found 12 people that did not have an opinion of him before a trial? In most of these type cases it is purely a he said/she said type of case in which an adult is guilty until proven innocent and juries just love little children. California gave a woman who burned her leg with a cup of coffee over $2 million, what would they have given these kids families? It may not have been a good thing for his public image but it was probably the best thing for him to have done.

Then instead of changing some of the VERY suspicious things he does, he continues and allows those charges to come up again....hmmmm

No argument for this, "Stupid is as stupid does".

Is that who you REALLY want as a hero? As said above...he was JUST an entertainer.

Just providing support for my above statement

X2. Although there are some I like way more than others, I never refer to myself as a fan because fan is short for fanatical and I am not fanatical about any of them. They are here so I enjoy them. If they all disappearred I would miss some of them but I would still sing to myself and play my own games.

Ask yourself what were the parents thinking? As a parent I would have my own a$$ kicked if I considered letting my kid spend the night with a grown man who had no kids of his own. The parents ought to be hung in this case.

This does make him a weirdo but you can't deny that he did influence music and fashion (no matter how short lived the trend was) as much as any other single person or group has.

I sort of have to disagree with you here. Although singers may only entertain and nothing physically gets done thanks to the music, (Unless you are talking about the walls of Jericho [sp?]) it can help accomplish alot. Music soothes the savage beast as it were. First kisses on the dance floor have probably been responsible for more than a few births. As far as the aftermath, although it can't really mend a broken heart there are times that it sure makes it easier to cope with the pain. It can help motivate you to get going or to go the extra mile. I would say that a few souls have been saved by a hymn that touched their heartstrings. Movies are a good way to help us forget our troubles for a few minutes and a whole lot less self destructive than alcohol. It's hard to argue with the power of entertainment. I know their are arguments about how the media dumbs us down but sometimes it's sort of comfortable being one of the sheepeople as long as you don't forget that you are really just a wolf in sheep's clothing.

I agree so I really don't know why I helped to keep this thread going..

Well, not all the time. I alternate between that mix CD & the one featuring Garth Brooks & Slayer.
X2 Variety is the spice of life. I'm glad I have young kids though. That way people don't look at me too stangely when I pump Aqua's Barbie girl and sing along.

Thank you very much 87 Nat

And yea, he absolutely did influence music and fashion. I admit.

Can song (and dance) help soothe some pain? Absolutely. I use it to cope with some ptsd, and some other trouble, every day. Does it make you want to fall in love with someone? Especially to a slow song? Sure does. And does it help to take the edge off of a long day at work? Yes sir.
And for that I love it, and I admire the songwriters, who know how to pump out a catchy, or influential song. And if music disappeared tomorrow, I'd probably be a dismal bastard, but my life would still go on.
But, should musicians be elevated to their present positions? I don't think so. They should make some decent coin, because touring constantly isn't easy work, but it's not ultra essential either. They're no doctors, construction guys, ministers, or bankers now. I just don't agree with how they're viewed today. And how our kids absolutely, and blindy worship them. It's not proper. My 2 favourite bands, (big country and the sundays) are extremely plain people, who wear jeans and a flannel to their concerts. They get up on stage, with no freakin fireworks or spandex trousers, and ply their trade. Nice and simple. Honest people, writing about honest life experiences. They're not flashy rock stars. I mean, I love a lot of other music that does come from these types of people. But they're surely not my gods.
Hell, some of them are downright corny. I still listen to the top 40 of the 80's, including Tiffany, Men at Work, and Simple Minds lol.

Though, (this may be a bit biased, but I can't help it) I'm not sure you can compare MJ to Elvis. Elvis, as the other entertainers in his era, had to have it all. Back then, if you wanted to apply for a gig, you had to A. Know how to dress, B. know how to dance, C. know how to sing, D, know how to write music, and E, know how to play some sort of instrument. I mean honestly, your competition were people like Dean Martin, Louis Prima, Fred Estair, Sammy Davis Jr., Buddy Holly, The Andrew Sisters, Harry Belafonte, Chuck Berry, Louis Armstrong, Johnny Cash, Ray Charles, Patsy Cline, Bing Crosby, Bobby Darin, Tommy and Jimmy Dorsey, Frank Freakin Sinatra for god's sakes... You couldn't just walk up to a recording studio and say, "Hey, lookit me.. I'm a great artist." If you wanted a shot at the big time, these are the sorts of people you had to at least, get shoulder to shoulder with. Yea, good luck with that buddy. Even though MJ was pretty high speed for his time, I'm not sure you could compare him with Elvis. Elvis wasn't a genius, but he was good lookin', could sing, could play the guitar, wrote his own music, dressed nice, and his dance drove WOMEN, not 15 year old girls, WILD. Even though I'm a tad biased towards him, I still believe he was a more important part of music for his time, than MJ was for our time. MJ was a downright weird bastard. And I don't mean cool weird, like Marylin Manson, I mean weird as in, I don't want my kid within 3 blocks of this guy weird. That there, which I learned in the Army, can undo any cool trends you may have set in your past history. You can do a hundred good things, but one messed up thing, will undo all of that, plus make you a jerk for the rest of your life. True, I know that's not necessarily fair, but hey, I'd rather be the king of rock and roll, than the king of pop lol. Yea, he was a trend setter, but could he dance like Fred? Sing like Frank? Dress like Dean? Play a guitar like Elvis? He was influential, but he wasn't THAT influential. THOSE guys were PRO's. Mike was weirdo that had a few funny dance moves, and sang like a woman.
