GM & FORD to possibly merge???
I was watching MSNBC, and while the stockmarket was tumbling yesterday and oil was reaching record highs, one of the economists said GM is in a heap of trouble with their stock, etc
Down almost $12.00, they said they wouldn't even be surprised if they file for bankruptcy- Also, they said something of even a possible merge with Ford? Can this be true????????????????????????  Could this ever happen?

Rumors. It was shot down by GM. Next year or after the elections the stock will be back to normal.It happened two years ago when GM bailed on the Fiat fiasco. Just a bunch of old guys dreaming about making their paychecks bigger if a recession happens. You always hear the same BS about Toyota or Honda buying GM or Ford. It will never happen. Just the mess from franchise laws would clog the court system for the next 50 years. The bigger stories are the Chrysler is running scared rumors.

wow .. a new Fuick GN would be nice .. Ford GT motor would be sweet and a manual trans for all the guys that want it
