ok my take on Liquid Glass.....once you start using it..you have to keep up on using it....as it is a paint sealant..it actually bonds to the paint surface....special products need to be used to remove it...it is a bodyshop nightmare if you ever have an accident....other downside is paint needs to breath...I used it religously on my Truck for years and ended up killing the paint....I would stick with conventional Waxes and glazes....now the formula could of changed as I know the original inventor of the product sold the rights to it back in the 90's and it was the newer formula that I had the problem with as the older formula worked fine for years on my Dads vette...

Q. How do I remove Liquid Glass Polish/Finish?

A. For purposes of applying another brand wax product, a good quality pre-wax cleaner will remove Liquid Glass Polish/Finish. For repainting, Varsol or mineral spirits should be used with steel wool.

I have used Liquid Glass for years and love the results! Your right though, if a car needs repainted steel wool is necessary for removal by a professional body shop.

I have never had it damage any paint and have used it on personal vehicles as well as my GN's and TTA.

There are many great products out there, but this is my preference.

Hmmm... interesting. I've had someone walk up to me at a cruise night before and tell me my black car looks like garbage with wax on it, and that I should look into paint sealants. Sounds kinda freaky that you'd have to scrub it off to ever fully remove it.

I use Zymol Paste not the liguid crap
Put it on, don't let it dry
Buff off wet by hand and no white dust!
I think it's $40.00 but goes a long way
Just finished a container I bought in 92

Zaino is good but requires a good process prep prior to applying. Zymol paste in the can is considered to be one of the best waxes, and goes in price from about $40 or so all the way up to about $500 or so.
